New Spawn and Announcement (Please take the time to read all)

About eight months ago, I started a project to create a massive, beautiful spawn. However, I was quickly disengaged from that as soon as my school started and I couldn't find time to finish that masterpiece.

The new map came out about two months later and I had to make a new spawn. So I just went half-ass and made a little temple that I was never satisfied with and it always disgusted me whenever I went on the server. I'm sure a lot of you feel the same way about the current state of the spawn.

I Have noticed how left out you guys really were whenever we would start a project and not let you help in anyway. This is a difficult problem because I know some of you do not have Skype nor microphones. I can't do much for the fact you do not have mics except for telling you to get one because you will find more uses for it than just Skyping with us.

Back to the main point, I wish to create a new spawn and, ultimately, start a new community. I am calling all those players, admins, and owners that have access to /gm to help me with this new spawn. The start of a strong community is starting the server together. I want this server to flourish and become one of those servers with over 300 players on at a time. However, I can not do this alone. I need your help with spreading the word, creating advertisements, and your thoughts on how this server can improve.

My dream for the server is to have a massive community. This starts with you guys and how the foundation is built. I believe part of creating one of the most successful servers starts with an amazing spawn. Now, I really need the players that have /gm to help with the building. But I also need the opinions of the players that are currently playing with a rank lower than VIP+ (required for Creative Mode).

Questions to answer:
1. Big spawn or small spawn? Why?
2. What theme would you like for the spawn? (Ex. Medieval, Modern, Oriental, Ect.)
2a. Give an example of the theme you chose out and how it would be better made to fit the idea in your head.
2b. If possible, provide pictures of your ideas for a spawn. (It can either be a picture of a real life structure or one made on minecraft)
3. Do you read the rules?

I think we should have a big spawn with no plots because a smaller spawn allows for a smaller radius AROUND the spawn meaning that the spawn will easily be surrounded by shitty first bases that will be abandoned.

I think the spawn should be more modern or something really unique that will get people's attention.

I have been on a lot of servers with medieval spawns as well as modern ones, but the more successful are always modern. But if we get something unique, people can get interested to see the server just to see how amazing spawn is if it is really that eye catching. Also, I sometimes go on a server that has over 500 players at times and they have a HUGE GIGANTIC spawn that some even simply hang around and just talk.

3. Do you read the rules?
Of course I have. They should be required to be read and there should be a quiz maze where before they go through, they get the [Newbie] rank and if the player doesn't read the rules, they'll take the wrong path and will have to start over again. If they go through correctly, they should get the [Player] rank and can now leave the spawn.

I heard you talking on the server about the Hunger Games pazz, and I think that on Planet Minecraft and simply overall we would get more members if we had the Hunger Games, a few PvP Arenas, CTF Arenas, and maybe even a Griefing PvP World. Our popularity would SKYROCKET. You can see how the popular servers have all of these. PvP and CTF Arenas are easy to set up, and if we reinstall the PvPArena plugin I can make a bunch.

Yes and since our spawn is going to have 5 buildings, one building could have all the info needed for the different arenas! I could organize them too. And when we did have PvPArena, I made a legit arena that people liked. With Creative and World Edit, the possibilities are endless!
